OWT Group Training
The cornerstone of Out West Training are our group fitness classes. These are designed by an exercise physiologist with the focus of each workout on the fundamental elements of good health: endurance, strength, high intensity cardio, balance and mobility. All ages and abilities are welcome to join these classes. NOTE: All of our Pilates classes are included in the group training membership!
Worried you are “too old” or not in shape enough to join us? Don’t be. We modify our training as needed so everyone can train regardless of where they are coming from!
Training will support an active lifestyle with specific blocks geared towards hunters, runners and bikers! We also offer custom endurance training and one on one private coaching.
Out West Training in a nutshell.
We are founded by adventurous, lifelong coaches and athletes that wanted to create a unique training experience in Fruita that would thrive in any city, big or small. Learn more about how we work and think about this training facility
We start on time, we train the whole time!
We make the most out of every minute. When you join an OWT class we use every minute of the hour including a good warm-up, full workout with cardio, strength and core plus the use of our recovery area afterwards.
We adapt to YOU!
Worried you are “too old” or not in shape enough to join us? Don’t be. We modify our training as needed so everyone can train regardless of where they are coming from! This goes for injuries or lifelong issues you may need modifications for while training.
It’s all about the coaches!
Our coaches have degrees and certifications in the industry and decades of experience working with people of all ages, abilities and limitations. They love what they do and they care about every single person’s experience!
Community first.
We use our space and our energy to help build leaders in the community. From on site clinics, to local sponsors, run clubs, and special sessions, we aim to give back in as many ways as possible! Reach out for special pricing for first responders, veterans, education and health care workers.
It’s not a hobby to us!
So many gyms and gym owners treat their business like a hobby. Not us, this is our primary focus day in and day out. It’s why we offer classes throughout the day. It’s why we pay our coaches well. We can’t do good for the community if the business isn’t thriving!

Our group memberships include all of our pilates classes.
Pilates is a great way to prevent injury and to complement the tough workouts in the gym and your hiking/running/biking/skiing adventures outdoors. Plan on lots of core, hip/glute work, balance and mobility. The pilates classes alone are worth the membership!!
