Armour Athletics and Out West Training are teaming up to offer two winter-break speed and performance mini camps for valley athletes this December.
These focused sessions are designed to improve straight-line speed, overall athleticism, and sport-specific strength.
Each camp begins with speed and agility testing using state-of-the-art timing technology, giving athletes a baseline they can measure progress against in the months and years ahead.
After testing, athletes will move into targeted drills and coaching aimed at teaching proper mechanics and developing real, repeatable speed.

Why Speed Training?
*We see a gap in our community — the valley has long lacked true speed development and performance resources for athletes. We believe every athlete here deserves access to the same level of training, testing, and programming that athletes in larger cities receive.
*Speed is the foundation of athletic performance, and by developing elite speed, we’re not just helping athletes get faster — we’re giving them the tools to compete at higher levels, gain confidence, and open doors to opportunities.
*But our mission goes deeper than just sprint times. We aim to build hardworking, disciplined individuals who understand the value of commitment and consistency. Developing speed is a long-term process, and through that journey, athletes will also grow in character, resilience, and work ethic.
